Event Description

• WHAT: Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 6 and 10 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph through Judith Gap.
• WHERE: Golden Valley, Judith Gap, Musselshell, Southern Wheatland, and Northeastern Yellowstone.
• WHEN: From 2 PM this afternoon to 11 PM MST Friday.
• IMPACTS: Travel will be very difficult with slick and snow covered roads, and areas of poor visibility. Blowing and drifting snow will impact travel on US-191 through Judith Gap.
• ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Rapidly falling temperatures combined with rain changing to snow may result in a flash freeze on roadways from mid afternoon into the evening. Travel may become treacherous during this time.
