- WHAT: For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy mixed precipitation. Additional snow accumulations up to two inches and ice accumulations around one tenth of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 8 inches possible.
- WHERE: Central and Southeast Phillips, Central and Southern Valley, McCone, and Northern Phillips Counties.
- WHEN: For the Winter Storm Warning, until 8 PM MST this evening. For the Winter Storm Watch, from late tonight through Saturday morning.
- IMPACTS: Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes. Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Significant ice accumulation on power lines and tree limbs may cause widespread and long-lasting power outages.
- ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Temperature will fall sharply this afternoon, with wind chills reaching as low as 25 below zero tonight.
